Spring has been great for us this year, and between building our new office, the Sea and Surf Kayaking Festival, delivering qualifications and courses and taking out lot's of lovely families and groups on their own adventures, it's certainly kept us all busy! This May half term was no exception either, with it being the busiest May half term we've ever had. We met a new group of Scouts who had travelled from Hereford to explore the Pembrokeshire coast by kayak and coasteer, and over two days tackled many fears, encouraged each other endlessly and made our lives very easy by being such an organised and fun group to work with. We also had some familiar faces (which is always great!) return with family and friends, and some adrenaline junkies too who were eager to be pushed to their very limits. Although the swell and wind picked up a bit towards the end of the week, we still had some sheltered spots up our sleeves for our new 'Speciality Package' bookings over the weekend, so a quiet, sunny and warm beach was the location for Saturday's lunch spot, with a quick dip in the sea before embarking on an afternoon of kayaking, and Friday's group finished off the day with a gourmet seafood BBQ, with fresh lobster, crab and mackerel. Now, with our big office move on the horizon, we are feeling very excited for the Summer and some more Pembrokeshire sunshine!
